Hit Points
Round up of Mean or roll for HP.
- d6 = 4
- d8 = 5
- d10 = 6
- d12 = 7
Combat
The house rules used for combat include the following:
Flanking
Flanking is 3v1 where the 3 are only engaging 1 enemy target this gives advantage.Massive Damage
Massive damage only applies after level 3
Injury/Dropping to 0 HP
Dropping to 0HP gains a point of fatigue.The Bloodied term is in use, it means the target is below 50% HP.
Cones
Token method will be used for cone effects.
Potion Use
Drinking a potion is a bonus action.Feeding a potion to an unconscious character is a standard action.
Large Weapons
You can use over-sized weapons up to 1 size larger than yourself at disadvantage.
- Large weapons deal +1d4 damage
- Huge +2d4 damage
- Gargantuan +4d4
(as in we will use the enlarge spell version not the monster creation version as enlarge is for players not monsters)
Fatigue
Fatigue is like exhaustion and stacks with it, however all fatigue points are lost on long rest.
Resting
A Short Rest is 20 minutes, and the group may have a maximum of 3 per day
Summoning
A character can only have one summon effect in play at a time. If another summon effect comes into play, it replaces the previous summon.
Spell Restrictions and Limitations
Restrictions
Some spells are not available to everyone and need membership in a faction or completion of a task before they are available.
Specifically, these spells:
- Simulacrum
- Wish
- Lesser Wish
- Any spell which allows planar movement, teleportation is fine. Banishment sends the target to a micro dimension except vs demons.
Level Change
All spells which revive a dead player have their casting level increased by 1 and only work if cast within 1 hour. A 9th level spell remains at 9th level (true resurrection is available but you wont be resting for it) these spells should not be considered revive spells but rather a targeted reversal of time or a mending of order.Skills and Skill Use
Skill Challenges
Skill challenges are used, you can only use skills you are trained in during a skill challenge.
Assisting Others
You can only help in a skill check if you have that skill and the GM allows it.Miscellaneous
Auras are used by the DM.
